Bahamas: Swimming Pigs & Snorkeling Cruise with Lunch & Rum
About this experience

Set sail on the ultimate Bahamian catamaran adventure—where turquoise waters, island culture, and unforgettable moments collide. Begin your experience at our easy-to-find waterside check-in booth at Margaritaville Restaurant on Paradise Island. After a brief safety overview, step aboard our spacious 62-ft luxury catamaran, fully staffed with a professional Captain, friendly crew, and expert tour guides. Sit back, relax, and soak in the stunning coastal views while enjoying complimentary snacks, water, and sodas as we cruise across the crystal-clear Bahamian waters. First stop: the famous Swimming Pigs of Rose Island. After a 50 minute cruise you’ll spend 45 unforgettable minutes feeding, swimming with, and photographing these adorable island celebrities—an iconic, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Next, we cruise to a vibrant coral reef, where you’ll snorkel in warm, clear waters alongside our knowledgeable snorkel guides, ensuring both safety and fun as you explore colorful marine life. After snorkeling, relax back on board as we serve a delicious light lunch while taking a scenic 1 hour cruise toward Rose Island—the perfect time to refuel, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the stunning views. As we continue the journey, the energy rises with cocktails flowing from our onboard rum bar, setting the tone for a true island escape. Once on Rose Island, enjoy a live conch salad (Bahamian ceviche) demonstration right on the beach. Join in beach games, unwind on soft white sand, hunt for seashells, or simply relax and let your worries drift away surrounded by brilliant turquoise water. On the final scenic cruise back, keep your eyes open as we stop to spot sea turtles in their natural habitat, followed by a lively Junkanoo Rush Out—a high-energy traditional Bahamian music and dance performance that brings the culture to life before we dock and conclude your unforgettable sailing adventure. This is more than a tour—it’s the Bahamas, experienced the right way. Book now and create memories that last a lifetime.

Questions guests ask before booking this tour

GetYourGuide lists the exact inclusions on the booking page — typically snorkel gear and life vests, drinks (often open bar), light food or lunch on the longer trips, and crew. Hotel pickup is sometimes included depending on the operator. Check the operator's inclusion list before booking; this comparison page surfaces the headline product, not every detail.

This tour starts at From $169 per person on GetYourGuide on our last refresh. Prices vary by date, season, and group size, and private-charter options are priced by the boat rather than per head. Click the Book button to see live pricing for your dates.

Most tours on GetYourGuide offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Look for the cancellation policy on the GetYourGuide tour page before booking — it's flagged prominently on the offer card.

You don't need to be a strong swimmer — operators provide life vests and snorkel gear, and the crew watches the water at each stop. If you have specific concerns, message the operator through GetYourGuide before booking; they reply within hours.

Typically local rum, beer, soft drinks, and water — unlimited during the cruise. Premium spirits are usually a paid extra. Pace yourself: wind and sun hide intoxication and the deck moves.

December – April (dry season, steady trade winds). Shoulder months (may, june, november (shoulder bargains)) are the best-value window — smaller crowds, lower prices, mostly the same conditions. Avoid september – october (hurricane window).

10–15 % cash to the captain at the end. Cash to the captain at the end of the trip — they share with the deckhands. Service is sometimes included on private charters; check the booking confirmation.

Yes, but follow the operator briefing. They're wild animals, fed mostly by tourist boats; don't bring food, don't grab them, and keep some distance in the water. Operators with good track records (Powerboat Adventures, Bahamas Air Tours) brief carefully — the cheap last-minute tours sometimes skip the briefing.
